Ultimate Blog Challenge – day 4 – “D”

I was having a think about having a letter of the alphabet for each day, that went a bit wonky seeing there are 26 letters in the alphabet and 30 days in April. So I may have to revisit that idea!

Anyway, back to work for me today, leaving the kidlets at home and back to the Day job. We did go out yesterday though, had to get that caffeine and calorie fix :) And, seeing it is currently half term for our lot, we were nice and let them tag along too. Albeit we had a bit of a struggle to get out with Morgan, it turned out to be quite delightful in as much as Morgan in one of his 'moods' can be delightful, although him spending 10 minutes looking at the car fresheners and picking a peach one wasn't so delightful - it was toooooo pongie and has gone to make a bin smelly! Morgan did cheer up and as you can see, I think he is showing off his sheep biscuit!

I am continuing with my endeavours to get the final essay done for my Open University course, well not so much the last essay as there is a huge final essay to be submitted. I'm just reading about Existentialism. I don't think I will actually be using it as part of my essay, but it is quite a good read.

And look what has turned up today, some of my reading material for my next course! EA300 Children's Literature. I will be tucking into them once I get this last essay and the EMA out of the way. I think it is May time that the EMA has to be in - not yet checked the date for submission as well as not yet found the book I am going to use for it. Hey ho, might be a last minute panic on that front.

On Saturday, I headed out to Norfolk Snowsports centre at Trowse with Genny. Myself and my fellow Guide Leader took 17 Guides snow tubing - they did the snow tubing, we watched!

So, here's Genny on her way up the slope on the moving walking thingie, and then what goes up comes down! All the girls had a great morning, lots of screams (joyful ones) and hearing them makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside that by giving up my time, and being part of Girlguiding, they have ended up having some fun.
