Story time – Stampin’ Up! ~ mini book

I thought I'd make some mini books, no other reason really apart from the fact that (1) I have too much paper {possibly} and (2) I like making them! I've used some of the paper from the Stampin' Up! Storytime DSP for this one and I've only used one sheet! As the sheets are all double sided I've taken a pic with another sheet so you can see both sides :)

1: trim 4" off the sheet - depending on the pattern either top or bottom - I trimmed the bottom off of mine.

The Stampin' Up! trimmer comes with a scoring blade as well, so I have then scored the larger piece in half (at 4" in portrait) and then at 3" intervals in landscape.

Once scored, cut again up the middle score to the first 3" score mark. 20130329_213539

Then you can fold the paper so that it becomes a concertina fold.

For the cover, I have trimmed the sheet to 6.25" and scored in from each end at 3", that way I end up with a little spine.

Just use some SNAIL adhesive on the outside 'pages' and there you go, one little mini book ready to embellish :)
