Stampin' Up! hearts a flutter

Having mounted my stamps the other day, here's the card I have made using them. It's just my usual plain and simple. Despite trying, I can't seem to make those really embellished cards that some people can create, it might be from being a scrapbooker in between card making and even my layouts tend to be 'flat'. I've used the primrose petals and old olive ink pad for my card, I like the way pinkish colours and greens go together.

20130329_180330 I stamped and cut several of the shapes, the remainder go into my die cut tub for use (!) at a later date {must do that one day as the die cuts are increasing in number!} 20130329_192529 For the mount, I have used some of the First Edition speciality DSP, mounted on to some real red cardstock and added some of the lovely stitched grosgrain ribbon 20130329_192605

Then simply layered up the die cuts to finish it off. I might add a sentiment later but for now, like it just like this.
