Fancy Fold Card - playing with the score board

I've been playing around with the score board & diagonal plate today (having o'deed with the mini milk cartons!). There is a great video tutorial online by Patty to make this but I also like pictures!

So this is a little card that has two pockets, one on the outside and one on the inside. The measurements are for 8.5 x 11" paper so I have just trimmed down a piece of 12x12 dsp.

Using your score board place your paper so it is portrait and first score at 4 1/4"

Next, turn the paper so it is in landscape and score at 5 1/2"

Then, slide on your diagonal plate (making sure that the arrow on the back lines up to the top of your board). You now score at the top right hand corner at the 4 1/2" mark, turn your paper 180 degrees and score again at the 4 1/2" mark at the top right.

That's the scoring done. Now, flip your paper over and fold over the 'triangles'.

Fold your paper in half and in half again.

There you have it, just decorate to finish off.

Have fun!
