What a lovely day, if you are a duck I guess, most of it has been wet, the chicken patch requires the use of welly boots!  Got a few jobs done around the house, we now have curtains in the living room (yay), paint and lampshade for the Wren's room and grocery shopping (ugh).  Not much else to do but make a card (or two) and have endless cups of coffee.

One of today's cards from playtime :)

I didn't want the card blank just plain white so stamped it with the large French filigree stamp with some not quite navy ink and then got to work and it's a slant on a card that appears in one of the SU demo 'mags'.  Improvised as, at this time of posting, I don't have the label punch - will have soon ;)I stamped the sentiment twice and punched it just to give a bit more 3D.

Other news in the world of SU....  As you know, the Spring mini ends on 30 April as does the Springtime promotion - so if there is anything in the Spring mini that you need don't delay in getting your order in, spend over £45 and you can choose a free paper pack.

Some great news if you are thinking of joining SU, just wait a few days and join from 1 May and you can get the starter kit for just £99 and not only that, you get to choose what you want in it an added bonus, you don't have to pay for it to be shipped to your door.  Want to know more, just ping me an email and I will be happy to send you more info and a suggested list of things you can get.  What with the Summer mini being introduced on 1 May it'll be a great time to join my team.

A date for your diary, 1 May is the release date for the Summer mini catalogue and there are some great products in it (demos get to see it before it is released and preorder from it), we have new stamps, gorgeous ribbons, punches & Sizzix dies and lots more including the great scoring board.  So you can get to see what you can do, I am joining in an amazing blog hop that starts at 10am GMT on 1 May.  So, please add this date to your blog viewing diary and be blown away with what I am sure will be some amazing creations.

I'm off back to the crafting table, I've made a bit of a mess!!
